I sent this banner to be replaced on my profile to you Timber in G+, and now here. Looking forward to the day each IMA’er here can edit their own profiles so they don’t have to ask anyone else to do it. 🙂 Thank you.

    • One more thing. Even though I do have permission to edit this .org site, I can edit the pic myself which is not what I want changed, it’s the background pic (banner) that I want corrected, and I don’t see anywhere to do that. Maybe I’ll need to delete my account and start from scratch if it lets me. 🙂

    • Here’s the update of the whole editing “cover photo”. Thanks to Timber, the USER can now change their own cover photo which is much progress for THIS user. It’s a shame that it happened just before the decision was made to use Joomla instead of WordPress.:) 🙂 🙂 🙂 Oh well, story of my life…… again. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 Looking forward to the…[Read more]

  • I need to change my profile banner pic, where the heck is Timber??? TIMBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER. 🙂

  • @francogrid I saw a rumor that was floating around, and now I see it\’s true!!! Great to see ya Francogrid, now go ask Praline what I typed at her. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

  • @praline Hey hey hey! Praline finally found IMA!! Good Job, and hope to see ya at one of the meetings soon. 🙂

  • Ok ok ok, I now realize that when I typed….\”Let\’s get movin\” in my last update of myself, that I didn\’t state how fast to move, sooooooo I would be very happier if it was faster than a tortoise than a snail. 🙂 Now if was as fast as a centipede then I would declare IMA as moving at a greatish pace. 🙂 🙂 🙂

    • Welcome Timber!

Thank you for taking my suggestion, Lisa. I was happy to commit to building the site framework, and get you all squared away, but thankful Timber is willing to take on the day-to-day role as we move forward.

Thank you also for the mention. If anyone wants to get a glimpse of what is going on with Web-Worldz, visit us at or The last version brought us landscaping and better land builds. The upcoming release will have additional features for the user. Exciting time for Virtual Worlds…right in your browser. Let me know what you think by chatting with me inside web-worldz or visit our support desk with your experience notes or suggestions!

      Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

      • I always felt a web browser access into opensim would be the key that unlocks the gates, because the average general public doesn’t want to download, install and learn a special viewer just to take a look around, but if they can hit a web page with a browser they are in and looking around and that’s a big start!

    • Thanks so much for the welcome!
I agree, Singergirl did a fantastic job here but it is a large and somewhat complex layout, so it would take time to maintain and keep updated. I’m glad to help in that capacity and I don’t see a need to change a thing on the very nice layout and theme.
Other than updating, and fixing one minor display error, that was all I needed to take care of as I roll into position.
      Have a good holiday SIngergirl!

    • Thanks Timber!

Hope you had a wonderful holiday yourself and glad to hear the transition has been smooth!

We agree about the doorway to virtual worlds. We have some research in the works for the actual transitional doorway; but, right at this very moment can only offer instructions to the user with our Virtual World Entrance Tutorial. The tutorial covers FAQs about what to expect from a virtual world, the difference between a virtual world and a 3D Website, as well as step by step instructions to take the virtual world leap by downloading a viewer.

To get to that tutorial go to — on the teleport directory choose EDUCATION, then Learn about Virtual Worlds. Always happy to entertain suggestions for improvement, so don’t hesitate to comment.

There is also an IMA tutorial in the works, but not yet completed (waiting on the landing grid). To get there choose ORGANIZATIONS from the teleport menu.
